Ohio Wesleyan University junior James Huddleston (Pontiac, Mich./Saint Marys Preparatory) and junior Jessie Huschart (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 7, it was announced by the NCAC.
Huddleston, a defensive end, was named Football Defensive Player of the Week. In Ohio Wesleyan's 30-23 win over Oberlin on Saturday, he compiled 11 tackles, including 3 sacks and 6 tackles for loss, along with a fumble recovery. The 6 tackles for loss ties the school record set by Jeff Markley vs. Allegheny on Oct. 10, 1987, and tied by Bo Smith at Denison on Oct. 15, 1988, and Owen Case at Wittenberg on Oct. 29, 2005.
