Ohio Wesleyan University junior Brooke Butterworth (Burlingame, Calif./Santa Catalina) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 10, it was announced by the NCAC.
Butterworth, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's tennis team, was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Butterworth was a double winner in a 9-0 win against NCAC West Division rival Wittenberg, helping the No. 2 doubles team to an 8-2 win and coming from behind for a 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) win at No. 3 singles. She also was a double winner in a 5-4 win over NCAC rival Allegheny, helping the No. 3 doubles team to an 8-3 win for the Bishops' only doubles point of the match, then recording a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles.
