Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Lauren Corcoran (Tampa, Fla./Plant) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 20, it was announced by the NCAC.
Corcoran, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's tennis team, was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Corcoran compiled a 3-1 record as Ohio Wesleyan opened its spring season by splitting a pair of matches against Saint Mary's (Ind.) and Otterbein on Sunday. She won in straight sets at No. 1 singles and helped the Bishops' No. 2 doubles team to an 8-1 win against Saint Mary's, then posted a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles against Otterbein.
