Ohio Wesleyan University senior Reuel Rogers (Columbus/Bexley) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 3, it was announced by the NCAC.
Rogers, a post player on the Ohio Wesleyan men's basketball team, was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Rogers converted a 3-point play with :45 left in regulation time to put the 17th-ranked Bishops ahead to stay in a 62-60 win at fifth-ranked Wooster on Wednesday. He led the team with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 blocked shots. Rogers then contributed 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots in an 88-61 win over Hiram. He had 6 points and 4 boards during the first half, when the Bishops pulled away behind runs of 18-2 and 19-2.
