Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University junior Megan Gentile (Newton, Mass./North) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 10, it was announced by the NCAC.

Gentile, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Gentile won the shot put with a throw of 40-7½ and added a second in the weight throw at Denison University's Bob Shannon Invitational, helping Ohio Wesleyan win the team title.
