Ohio Wesleyan University junior Lauren Corcoran (Tampa, Fla./Plant) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 26, it was announced by the NCAC.
Corcoran, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's tennis team, was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Corcoran went undefeated on the week. She helped the Ohio Wesleyan No. 3 doubles team to an 8-6 win, then posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles as the Bishops defeated Otterbein, 7-2, on Wednesday. In a match against regionally-ninth-ranked Centre, Corcoran helped the Bishop No. 3 doubles team to an 8-3 win, then recorded a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles as Ohio Wesleyan won the match by a 6-3 score.
