Ohio Wesleyan University senior Cara DeAngelis (Norton/Ellet) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 17, it was announced by the NCAC.

DeAngelis, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Runner of the Week.

DeAngelis won the 3000-meter run at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet on Saturday, helping Ohio Wesleyan finish third in the team standings.  Her time of 9:53.37 broke the school record of 10:00.82 she set earlier this season.
