Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Sarah Flint (Westerville/St. Francis DeSales) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 31, it was announced by the NCAC.

Flint, an outfielder-pitcher on the Ohio Wesleyan softball team, was named Softball Player of the Week.

Flint belted RBI doubles in the first and third innings to stake Ohio Wesleyan to a 2-0 lead in the opener of a non-conference doubleheader against Muskingum on Thursday.  She doubled again in the sixth inning to tie the school single-game record of 3 doubles.  In the nightcap, Flint was the winning pitcher as the Bishops completed the twinbill sweep.  The wins were Ohio Wesleyan's first over Muskingum, breaking a 23-game losing streak dating back to the 1984 season.
