Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Lilly Gresh (Westerville/North) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 28, it was announced by the NCAC.
Gresh, an outfielder on the Ohio Wesleyan softball team, was named Softball Player of the Week.
Gresh batted .611 last week, going 11-for-18 as Ohio Wesleyan won 4 times in 6 starts. She went 4-for-4, tying the school record for hits in a game, scored 3 runs and drove in 3 runs in the opener of an NCAC doubleheader against Hiram, then went 2-for-4 in the nightcap. She was 4-for-5 in a non-conference doubleheader sweep of Adrian. In the nightcap of an NCAC doubleheader against Denison, she scored the Bishops' first run, erasing a 1-0 deficit. Ohio Wesleyan would go on to win the game, 2-1, clinching the final spot in this week's NCAC tournament. In the Bishops' 2 NCAC wins, she was 5-for-7 with 4 runs scored and 3 RBI.
