Ohio Wesleyan University freshman John Sotos (Dublin/Coffman) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 20, it was announced by the NCAC.

Sotos, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan cross country team, was named Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Sotos posted a top-10 finish to lead Ohio Wesleyan to a ninth-place finish at the Oberlin Interregional Rumble on Saturday in Oberlin.  Sotos finished seventh overall, completing the 8000-meter course in 25:44.7.
