Ohio Wesleyan University senior Colton Bloecher (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 29, it was announced by the NCAC.

Bloecher, a midfielder on the Ohio Wesleyan men's soccer team, was named Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Bloecher scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift 16th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan to a 2-1 non-conference win over Hanover on Wednesday.  He then scored Ohio Wesleyan's first 2 goals, helping the Bishops open their North Coast Athletic Conference title defense with a 3-1 win at Wooster on Saturday.
