Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Colin McShane (Columbus/Olentangy) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 26, it was announced by the NCAC.

McShane, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

McShane won an event and helped 2 relay teams to first-place finishes as Ohio Wesleyan won the team title at the NCAC Quad on Saturday.  McShane won the 200-meter dash in :23.04 and added a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash.  He also was part of the Bishops' first-place 800- and 1600-meter relay teams, which won their events in respective times of 1:32.84 and 3:34.50.
