Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Megan Kuether (Osgood/Marion Local) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 9, it was announced by the NCAC.

Kuether, a guard on the Ohio Wesleyan women's basketball team, was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Kuether scored 5 points during an 11-2 first-half run that closed out the first half and narrowed a 13-point deficit to 4, then went 4-for-4 from the line during the final 30 seconds and grabbed a defensive rebound to seal the outcome as the Bishops defeated Kenyon, 75-71, on Saturday.  She finished with a career-high 22 points, going 13-for-14 from the line, and shared the team lead with 3 assists.  Kuether opened the week with 11 points in Ohio Wesleyan's 71-67 win over Wooster on Wednesday.
