Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Kaneat Nimcharoenwan (Bangkok, Thailand/Buckeye Valley) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 15, it was announced by the NCAC.
Nimcharoenwan, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's golf team, was named Men's Golfer of the Week.
Nimcharoenwan won medalist honors to lead Ohio Wesleyan to a second-place finish at the Strimer Memorial Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. Nimcharoenwan fired a one-under-par 69 in Sunday's second round to finish with an even-par 140, taking medalist honors by a single stroke.
