Ohio Wesleyan University senior Emily Johnson (Johnstown/Johnstown-Monroe) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 18, it was announced by the NCAC.

Johnson, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Runner of the Week.

Johnson finished 14th in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 12:11.77 at the Shamrock Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina University, competing in a field comprised mostly of Division I, Division II, and NAIA institutions.
