Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Alex Lutz (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 23, it was announced by the NCAC.
Lutz, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's tennis team, was named Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
Lutz went 4-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles play in helping Ohio Wesleyan win all 4 matches it played, recording wins over Albion, Adrian, Rochester (Mich.), and Otterbein as the Bishops extended their winning streak to 9 matches. Lutz went 1-0 at No. 2 singles and 3-0 at No. 5 singles, and was part of doubles teams that went 1-0 at No. 1 and 3-0 at No. 3.
