Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University junior Aaron Port (Parma/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 30, it was announced by the NCAC.

Port, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Port competed at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational, where he recorded a javelin throw of 185-3 to finish second, the Bishops' best individual finish of the meet.  Port's throw is the best of the season to date among NCAA Division III competitors.
