Ohio Wesleyan University senior Charles Cooper (Columbus/Upper Arlington) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 30, it was announced by the NCAC.

Cooper, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan baseball team, was named Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Cooper fired a 4-hit shutout in the opening game of Ohio Wesleyan's NCAC West Division series with Wabash.  He struck out 5 and walked 3, and allowed only one runner past second base.  Cooper opened the week by working an inning in relief against 15th-ranked Baldwin Wallace.  He struck out 3 BW batters in the eighth inning of Ohio Wesleyan's 8-4 win.
