Ohio Wesleyan University senior Jon Rux (North Oaks, Minn./Mounds View) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 30, it was announced by the NCAC.

Rux, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was tabbed as Men's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Rux took a pair of first-place finishes as Ohio Wesleyan took the team title at the NCAC Quad on Saturday at Wooster.  He won the shot put with a throw of 41-2 3/4 and emerged victorious in the weight throw with a heave of 49-6.
