Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Brianna La Croix (Woodland Hills, Calif./Sierra Canyon) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 26, it was announced by the NCAC.
La Croix, an outside hitter on the Ohio Wesleyan volleyball team, was named Volleyball Player of the Week.
La Croix turned in 3 double-digit performances in kills as Ohio Wesleyan went 3-0, including a pair of NCAC wins, last week. She led Bishops with 16 kills in a 3-2 win against DePauw on Thursday, also adding 17 digs and a solo block. She then led the Bishops with 17 kills and shared the team lead with 14 digs in a 3-1 win over Hiram on Saturday. Those 2 wins moved the Bishops' NCAC record to 7-1, Ohio Wesleyan's best since 1998. La Croix also led the Bishops with 23 kills in a 3-1 win over Randolph-Macon on Saturday. On the week, she compiled 56 kills and 39 digs for averages of 4.31 kills and 3.00 digs per set.
