Sophomore Sarah Bechtel (Bellefontaine) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week in women's track & field for the week of Feb. 13, it was announced by the NCAC.

Bechtel, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Bechtel won the pole vault to help Ohio Wesleyan to a fifth-place finish at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet, hosted by Otterbein University on Saturday in Westerville.  Bechtel cleared 11-¼ and took individual honors based on fewer missed attempts.
