Ohio Wesleyan University junior Taylor Dickson (Baltimore/Liberty Union) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 8, it was announced by the NCAC.
Dickson, a post on the Ohio Wesleyan women's basketball team, was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Dickson helped the Bishops split a pair of games last week. She sparked runs of 8-2 in the first quarter, 8-0 in the second quarter, and 9-0 in the third quarter on the way to a game-high 29 points in a 65-60 win at Wooster. Dickson then hit a jumper that gave Ohio Wesleyan a 59-56 lead with 1:18 left in regulation time and finished with a team-high 25 points in a 62-59 loss at Kenyon. On the week, she connected on 20 of 25 field goal attempts, a sizzling .800, including 9 of 11 shots from beyond the arc (.818). She averaged 27.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
