Ohio Wesleyan University junior Nicole Sanczyk (New Providence, N.J.) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 29, it was announced by the NCAC.

Sanczyk, a midfielder on the Ohio Wesleyan women's lacrosse team, was named Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Sanczyk scored 4 times during a 5-0 run that put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay in a 13-11 win over Washington & Jefferson in the Bishops' season opener on Saturday.  She finished with a game-high 6 goals.
