Ohio Wesleyan University junior Sarah Fowler (Mount Vernon/Fredericktown) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 4, it was announced by the NCAC.

Fowler, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Runner of the Week.

Fowler, competing at the VertKlasse Meeting in High Point, N.C., won the 3000-meter steeplechase in a time of 10:54.86. That time ranked second in NCAA Division III as of April 4.
