Ohio Wesleyan University senior Adam Turner (Clyde) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 4, it was announced by the NCAC.
Turner, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.
Turner recorded a pair of top-20 finishes, including one top-10 performance, at the VertKlasse Meeting in High Point, N.C. He finished seventh in the 400-meter dash in :49.30 and was 20th in his section of the 200-meter dash in :22.42. Turner also helped an Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team to a 17th-place finish in 3:29.57.
