Ohio Wesleyan University junior Ifa Abduljelil (Whitehall/Whitehall-Yearling) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 11, it was announced by the NCAC.

Abduljelil, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Abduljelil, competing at the Marv Frye Invitational, won both hurdles events, taking the 100-meter competition in :15.07 and winning the 400-meter event in :56.90, in helping Ohio Wesleyan win the team title.
