Ohio Wesleyan University junior Taylor Dickson (Baltimore/Liberty Union) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 18, it was announced by the NCAC.
Dickson, an infielder on the Ohio Wesleyan softball team, was named Softball Player of the Week.
Dickson doubled home what proved to be deciding run in the nightcap of an NCAC doubleheader at Wooster on Tuesday after singling in 2 runs to help the Bishops build a 3-0 lead in the opener. In the nightcap of a non-conference doubleheader against Case Western Reserve on Saturday, she went 2-for-3 and drove in 3 runs to help the Bishops to a win. She closed out the week by helping the Bishops sweep an NCAC doubleheader at Kenyon on Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a home run, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI in the opener and going 2-for-3 with 2 RBI in the nightcap. On the week, she batted .450 (9-for-20) with 3 doubles and a home run, scored 6 runs and drove in 12 runs.
