Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University junior John Sotos (Dublin/Coffman) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 12, it was announced by the NCAC.

Sotos, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's cross country team, was named Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Sotos won individual honors at the OWU Invitational, covering the 8000-meter course in 27:10.0 to finish more than 34 seconds of the runner-up.  Sotos' efforts helped Ohio Wesleyan win the team title in the race, with the Bishops defeating Ohio Dominican by a score of 23-62.
