Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dominicak Orsini (Massillon/Archbishop Hoban) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 17, it was announced by the NCAC.
Orsini, a quarterback on the Ohio Wesleyan football team, was named Football Offensive Player of the Week.
Orsini threw touchdown passes on 3 consecutive possessions as Ohio Wesleyan turned a 14-7 deficit into a 28-14 lead, and the Bishops went on to defeat Hiram, 28-21, on Saturday. Orsini threw touchdown passes of 26, 4, and 14 yards, capping drives of 64, 70, and 71 yards. On the day, he completed 25 of 33 passes for 272 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for an additional 16 yards on 11 carries.
