Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Adam Armstrong (Centerville) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 17, it was announced by the NCAC.
Armstrong, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's golf team, was named Men's Golfer of the Week.
Armstrong placed fourth among individuals at the Jim English Invitational, hosted by Centre College on Saturday and Sunday in Danville, Ky. He was tied for eighth after a 75 in the first round, then improved upon that with a 1-under-par 71 on Sunday to finish with a 146, helping Ohio Wesleyan win the team title. Armstrong was named to the all-tournament team.
