Ohio Wesleyan University senior Shelby Ksiazek (Littleton, Colo./Regis Jesuit) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 24, it was announced by the NCAC.
Ksiazek, a right-side hitter on the Ohio Wesleyan volleyball team, was named Volleyball Player of the Week.
Ksiazek helped Ohio Wesleyan to 3-1 wins over Mount Union on Friday and Hiram on Saturday. At Mount Union, she collected 18 kills with only 1 error in 39 attempts for a .436 attack percentage, and added an assist and 3 block assists. At Hiram, she had 15 kills with only 2 errors in 28 attempts for a .464 attack percentage and led the Bishops with 6 blocks. In the 2-game trip, she averaged 4.12 kills per set and had an attack percentage of .448.
