Ohio Wesleyan University senior Ifa Abduljelil (Whitehall/Whitehall-Yearling) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 17, it was announced by the NCAC.

Abduljelil, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Abduljelil won All-Ohio honors with a second-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, helping Ohio Wesleyan win the team championship at the All-Ohio Division III meet for the third consecutive year.  He also placed seventh in the 400-meter hurdles.
