Dickson Named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week

Ohio Wesleyan University senior Taylor Dickson (Baltimore/Liberty Union) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 24, it was announced by the NCAC.
Dickson, a shortstop on the Ohio Wesleyan softball team, was named Softball Player of the Week.
Dickson went 5-for-8 with 7 RBI in a doubleheader sweep at Oberlin. She smashed a 2-run homer and finished at 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI in a 15-9 win in the opener, then went 2-for-3 with 4 RBI in a 13-4 Ohio Wesleyan win in the nightcap. The following day, she drove in 5 runs in a doubleheader sweep against Kenyon. In the opener, she was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI in a 13-8 win, and in the nightcap, she went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI in a 6-3 win. On the week, she batted .571 (8-for-14) with 3 doubles, a triple, and a home run. She drove in 12 runs and had a slugging percentage of 1.143.
