Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Ryan Lesmez (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 11, it was announced by the NCAC.


Lesmez, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's cross country team, was named Men's Runner of the Week.

Lesmez finished fifth at the OWU Invitational on Saturday, completing the 8000-meter course in 25:48.8.  He was the low finisher among NCAC runners and helped the Bishops to a sixth-place finish in the 18-team field.
