Ohio Wesleyan University senior Seth Clark (Lewis Center/Olentangy) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 20, it was announced by the NCAC.
Clark, a guard on the Ohio Wesleyan men's basketball team, was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Clark scored 17 first-half points as Ohio Wesleyan built a 16-point halftime lead and went on to a 99-96 win over Trine in its season opener on Friday. Clark finished with a career-high 34 points on 13-for-19 shooting, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range, and dished out 6 assists. On Saturday, Clark scored 5 points during an 11-2 run that stretched a 12-10 Ohio Wesleyan lead into a 23-12 margin, and the Bishops went on to a 98-60 win over Albion. Clark finished with 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. On the week, he averaged 25.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, shot .645 from the field (20 of 31), and was 8-for-16 (.500) from long range.
