Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Morgan Smith (Tiffin/Calvert) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 12, it was announced by the NCAC.

Smith, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Athlete of the Week.

Smith won the 800-meter run at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet on Saturday, finishing in 2:17.23.  She also helped the Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team win All-Ohio honors with a second-place finish.
