Ohio Wesleyan University junior Max Tennant (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 2, it was announced by the NCAC.
Tennant, an attacker on the Ohio Wesleyan men's lacrosse team, was named Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week.
Tennant scored twice as Ohio Wesleyan rang up 3 goals in less than a minute to break a 1-1 tie, then had 3 goals during a 4-0 burst to open the second half as the Bishops pulled away for a 14-5 win over John Carroll on Wednesday. He finished with a team-high 7 goals. In Ohio Wesleyan's 20-7 win over Hiram on Saturday, Tennant scored 3 goals during an 8-1 first-quarter run and finished with 6 goals.
