Meet the Bishops:  Get to know a little about Madison Haggerty of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track and field team.

Name:  Madison Haggerty

Major:  Biology

Minor:  History

How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I was recruited and once I was on campus and with the track team I felt like I was home.

How/Why did you choose your major?
I absolutely love science and the biology major allows me to take classes under both the zoology department and the BOMI department.

Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I knew I wanted to continue doing track in college and the amazing team and coaching staff when I came in made it a no-brainer.

What is your favorite event/competition?
Hammer throw.

What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
Going to conference meets throughout the years has been amazing. The energy that the team brings for cheering each other on is incredible and being a part of the cheering is even better.

What are your plans after graduation?
I will be applying to programs to become a cardiopulmonary perfusionist.

What is your favorite place to eat in Delaware, and what is your go-to dish there?
I love going to Hambo (Hamburger Inn) and having the bacon, mushroom, Swiss burger.

Which reality show would you like to star on and why?
I’d love to be a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Don’t reply when you’re angry.

If you were told you only had one week left to live, what would be on your bucket list?
Travel as much as I possibly could.
