Ohio Wesleyan University senior James Huddleston (Pontiac, Mich./Saint Marys Preparatory) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 1, it was announced by the NCAC.

Huddleston was named Football Defensive Player of the Week.

Huddleston, a defensive end, racked up 4 quarterback sacks in the first quarter alone as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Hiram, 48-24, on Saturday.  He finished with a team-leading 9 tackles, including 4 sacks for a loss of 31 yards, 5 tackles for loss of 33 yards, and a fumble recovery.
