Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Montana Knapp (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 15, it was announced by the NCAC.
Knapp was named Field Hockey Player of the Week.
Knapp, an attacker, racked up her first collegiate hat trick in Ohio Wesleyan's 4-2 win over Kenyon on Thursday. With the Bishops trailing, 2-1, midway through the second half, Knapp scored goals with 22:51, 12:02, and 5:04 remaining to give the Bishops the win. On Sunday, she scored the game-winner with 4:23 left in regulation time to give the Bishops a 2-1 win over Sewanee.
