Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because it felt like a family. I was being recruited for football and the coaches all made me feel welcome and the community surrounding the school seemed very established.
Why did you choose your major?
I am undecided as of now, but I have an idea of what I want to do. The great thing about OWU is that they have a lot of great courses you can take if you do not know exactly what you want to do.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to compete in sports at OWU because I believe that sports instill great values into a person. If you can learn how to translate those values from the field or court to your everyday life, then I believe you will have success in life.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I wear the same outfit every game day and pray on the 28-yard line before every game.
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
I believe my strengths as an athlete are my effort and leadership.
What sport other than your own would you like to try?
I would love to play some sort of competitive golf here, but I most likely would not be able to keep up.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get where you are?
All of my coaches and teammates support me on and off the field, but one person in particular is Hayden Bricker. Hayden is a junior on the football team whose career got cut short due to injury. He still shows up to practice and gives me tips on my technique and is a great example for me.
What is your favorite movie character and why?
My favorite movie character is probably Tyler from Twister played by Glen Powell. He just has an aura.
What is your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is fall because it is football season and the weather is perfect.
What is your favorite place to eat in Delaware, and what is your go-to dish there?
I have not been able to try many places in Delaware yet, but they have just about every chain restaurant you could think of, and downtown there are a lot of nice places, too. Right now my favorite I've tried is Amato's Woodfired Pizza.
