Ohio Wesleyan University junior Sarah Bechtel (Bellefontaine) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 4, it was announced by the NCAC.

Bechtel, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Bechtel won the pole vault at the Bomber Invitational, hosted by Ithaca College on Saturday in Ithaca, N.Y.  She cleared 11-3¾ in the pole vault and added an eighth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles.
