Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because I loved the surrounding community and how at-home campus feels, plus I love the opportunities OWU offers.
Why did you choose your major?
I’ve always found psychology super interesting. I think understanding how people's minds work and knowing why they do certain things is fascinating. I want to be able to help people who aren't able to help themselves.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to play sports at OWU because I love the atmosphere that comes with the team. I love that everyone is so passionate about the sport. I also love that it allows me to focus on both softball and my academics.
Why do you like your position?
I like catching because it allows me to be a part of every play on the field.
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
I feel my strengths as an athlete are my effort, hustle, attitude, and willingness to learn and get better.
What event/sport other than your own would you like to try?
I would like to try swimming or diving sometime.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get where you are?
There are two specific people that come to mind, my coaches Emily and Jodi. They have pushed me to be a better athlete and person every time I see them. They are the reason I'm playing in college and I owe them a lot.
Which reality show would you like to star on and why?
I would want to be on "Below Deck" because I would get to be on a boat all the time and see some amazing sights.
What is your favorite place to eat in Delaware, and what is your go-to dish there?
My favorite place to eat is Amato's Woodfired Pizza and my go-to dish is chicken Alfredo.
What is your favorite movie character and why?
My favorite movie character is Mushu from "Mulan" because he's always there for comedic relief and advice.
