Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Steven Moore (Hamilton) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 29, it was announced by the NCAC.
Moore, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan baseball team, was named Baseball Player of the Week.
Moore, an outfielder, helped Ohio Wesleyan win 3 games in a weekend series against Wabash, moving the Bishops into a tie for second place in the NCAC West Division. He drove in the game's only run in a 1-0 win on Saturday, then scored the go-ahead run and plated a pair of insurance runs in a 7-4 win on Saturday. On Sunday, he drove in 3 runs in a 6-0 Ohio Wesleyan win. On the week, he batted .471 (8-for-17) and drove in 9 runs.
