Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Chris Pavelic (Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 9, it was announced by the NCAC.

Pavelic was named Men's Golfer of the Week.

Pavelic won medalist honors to lead Ohio Wesleyan to a seventh-place tie at the Transylvania Fall Invitational.  Pavelic, who was tied for 19th with a 73 after the first round, carded a second-round 70 to finish with a 143, leapfrogging 18 golfers to take medalist honors.
