SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's soccer team hosted No. 3 Denison for the eighth annual Luke's Game on Saturday night, honoring the life and legacy of former player Luke Gabbert.
The Battling Bishops held Denison scoreless for the first 70 minutes before the Big Red broke onto the board with the game's lone goal in the 71st minute.
OWU drops to 5-3-4 overall and 1-1-0 in the NCAC. Denison remains undefeated on the season at 10-0-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference.
THE NUMBERS
OWU struggled to get forward offensively, having just one shot until well into the second half. The Bishops finished with four total attempts, none of which were able to find their target. On the other side, Denison took 11 shots, putting five on goal.

Jack Jennings each accounted for one shot attempt.
Sam Whitman (5-3-4) spent the evening in goal, making four saves.
