Vanden Eynden Earns Third-Team All-NCAC Recognition

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced the all-conference teams for the 2026 softball season on Wednesday afternoon. Ohio Wesleyan University junior Chameron Vanden Eynden was named to the All-NCAC Third Team.

Vanden Eynden started all 36 games for the Battling Bishops this season, leading the team with a .361 average through 119 at-bats with nine runs batted in. She registered a team-leading 43 hits, including three doubles and one triple for a slugging percentage of .420. On the basepaths, Vanden Eynden was a perfect 6-for-6 on steals and scored a team-leading 18 runs. In the field, she was one of three players in the conference with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, recording 63 putouts, two assists, and zero errors on 65 chances.

This is Vanden Eynden's third all-conference honor, following first-team recognitions the past two seasons.

The Red and Black concluded their season at 8-28 overall with a 3-11 record in conference play.
