GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators released its 2026 Academic All-District selections for baseball on Tuesday afternoon. Ohio Wesleyan University was represented on the Division III Academic All-District Team by seniors Alex Snyder and Zane Vitense, and junior Josh Bercaw.

It is the third Academic All-District selection for Vitense, the second for Snyder, and the first for Bercaw. Vitense recently graduated with a double-major in Sports Management and Business Management, and a minor in Economics. Snyder recently graduated with a double-major in Exercise Science and Nutrition, and a minor in Psychology. Bercaw is double-majoring in History and Education: Adolescence to Young Adult.

In order to be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be of at least sophomore status and meet high academic and athletic standards, including maintaining a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.
