NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2025-26 Team Academic Award recipients on Wednesday afternoon. The Ohio Wesleyan University men's golf team was named among the 34 NCAA Division III institutions receiving the award.

A GCAA-record 331 institutions across the three NCAA divisions as well as NAIA and NJCAA earned the Team Academic Award. In order to qualify for the award, a team must maintain a combined grade point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.

The Battling Bishops finished fifth at the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship, led by senior Gavin Stutz who finished 26th overall and was named to the All-NCAC Third Team.
