Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dre White (Lima/Bath) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 16, it was announced by the NCAC.

White, a wing on the Ohio Wesleyan men's basketball team, was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

White scored a career-high 20 points and led the Bishops with 9 rebounds in Ohio Wesleyan's 70-59 win at Anderson on Wednesday.  On Saturday at Hiram, he hit a pair of lay-ins down the stretch as Ohio Wesleyan wiped out a 6-point deficit to send the game into overtime.  He led the Bishops with 4 assists and added 10 points and 8 rebounds in Ohio Wesleyan's 69-67 win.
